Take every chance you get.
I was able to do a shirt design for one of my favorite bands, Hail The Sun. These guys are from southern California and they tear the stage to shreds when given the opportunity. They are on the Instant Gratification tour with Stolas, Polyphia, and Dance Gavin Dance. I was able to catch one of the shows and hang with the band, in particular the Anaheim Ducks loving guitarist Shane Gann, who just recently got his project Sufferer successfully funded. It was great to see things through his eyes and be on the other side of the 'barricade' during a rock show. I was even mistaken for being in the band when a fan came up and started asking the guys for autographs. It was an amazing experience seeing something that I had created behind their merch table. Hopefully I'll be able to do more in the future! If you haven't yet, check all the great bands out as soon as possible //
